Anyone seeing shyt out there about Noonie, Gavin, and Kelly have quit the team?
I was never tripping over him like that. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned him at all on here because I knew he wasn’t going to call the plays, so what does it matter how good he might be (or might not be)? Taggart has made it clear it’s his offense and he’s calling the plays. I don’t have any feelings toward Walt other than he has a real whiteboy haircut.
With that being said, the reason why a certain segment of the fan base was hyped about him is that he’s a young guy whose good looking and charismatic. People like that always get a couple extra stars added next to their name regardless of what walk of life it is. It’s just how it is. In terms of football, people were geeked off what Maryland did to Texas last year when he was OC, he had a couple nice stories written about him (pretty sure TDO did one in the summer that was well received), and he had a couple of cool cosigns (his college roommate is some country singing star).
That’s basically it.
Don’t be surprised if Francois gets the start. That seems to be more likely than not. The information I received as of Thursday morning pointed to Francois being QB1 against Notre Dame, although Willie Taggart had not informed the team of a starting quarterback based on what I was told as of Thursday afternoon. But multiple sources have told Noles247 that Francois has taken a majority of the first-team reps.
There’s some uneasiness internally because a quarterback hasn’t been named yet. There's no friction between the two QBs, they like each other and support each other, but not knowing hasn't been easy for the entire team. Blackman does have a good chunk of support, but do not assume that he starts just because he played well last week in place of an injured Francois.

Blackman is better than DF. I'd sit DF just because of that fukk shyt he pulled the other day if I were Willie. Dude couldn't wait to undermine him.
Man let Francois take this ass whooping up in South Bend and let Slim bring this thing home against BC and UF. Neither QB gives you that much of a chance to win behind this line (Arnold and Jauan both took 1st team reps this week

a certain segment will disagree but i agree with you...this waffaling and playing both sides by Taggart is not good at all for the program..Roll with Black man and be decisive about it..definitely a red flag for me that Taggart living up to what these CACs been talking about smh

They should’ve just named Blackman the starter. shyt is dumb.
I don’t follow these jits on social media, but I saw where Blackman said something like you gotta lose some friends to see the top and players were like “100” and shyt like that. Could mean nothing. Could mean everything. DJ and them definitely talking about DF, though.
He seems way in over his head. This job seems too big for him. He’s fukking up with the on the field coaching (see our unwillingness to take the ball at the 25 on kickoffs or an offense that doesn’t have a single under center play) the off the field shyt (see team playing like trash but the players getting on Twitter and talking reckless), the internal shyt (see this DF shyt). DF should’ve been sat as soon as he said I’m still the number one guy after Willie said there would be a battle. He ain’t even killing it in recruiting like that. Like, he’s doing alright and shyt. Willie KILLED it in the off-season. But, this season has been a fukking debacle.
I was optimistic with him giving up play calling. It’s an indication that he’s not a stubborn man. But, this DF shyt is incredibly dumb.
We’re about to have our first losing season ever. We’re about to miss a bowl for the first time ever, and every time I turn around nikkas gyrating in the lockerroom like we’re undefeated.

Come to realize this season like I did after the NCST game in '12, we as fans care about this stuff way more than the actual folks on the field. Hahaha, so now he in over his head??? Fanbases are weird. Sure, Frenchie may be a bytchass nikka from the outside looking in, but that dont mean every tweet coming outta the locker room is pertaining to him or the QB situation. Let Frenchie "lose" the job first. Up until the Clemson game, he was the leading passer in the ACC. Sure Blackman balled out against NC State.....but we still lost. We're FSU, damnit! Thats the standard. No matter how much we love Blackman, he didnt play well enough to win at NC St, so this whining the fanbase is doing over who starts in South Bend as a 18 point dog against a top 5 defense is laughable. It don't matter who we start Saturday. So at least let Frenchie loss the gig first. Start him (dont even know if he is starting yet) and if he's not producing, yank him or at least he's shown performance wise that we should go with Blackman or stay with him. Its clear most of y'all could never be head coaches. Got cats in here talking about recruiting falling off, etc. He got the hardest culture change of any Big 3 school and will have the highest ranked class over both schools. Watching these same players quit against Houston, Louisville, BC, and barely make a bowl last year.....Im shocked most of y'all acting like this result this year is somehow beneath this program. Jimbo left a fukking mess. Ungrateful fan base.
