who did you want them to get? Family friendly acts with songs that are old school that will still resonate with the younger audience (It Takes Two, Ice Ice Baby, and S&P catalogue). Hit every facet you need as far as gender and race. It is what it is. Let the first cookout "cook".

I don't want to sound hyperbolic.....but I don't think I can ever recall a coach connecting with kids like this in such a short time. The class that Willie could put together of kids that never even been to Tally, or made just one visit, is impressive in itself. If it all works out....Harrison, Foster, Peters, Chatman, McDonald, Woodbey, Young, Grant, and Helton could all be in this class and only been to Tally ONCE IN THEIR LIVES! That's crazy. Willie with a whole cycle, junior days, game day visits, etc.....wow.

I'm sure Willie already dropped some science in ma dukes ear, so if UT does come in today and start hating, it'll make Willie tweet ring true. UT might have just boxed themselves in on this one.

Naw you correct... I can see him getting kids in the fold that he had a relationship with from oregon or further. But some of these kids have had no intraction with tagg and he's getting not only to visit but flip/commit. Like other have said, give this staff a year and MAN!

Florida State is hosting Seattle (WA) Garfield four-star ATH Tre'Shaun Harrison on a much anticipated official visit this weekend. Harrison is being recruited as a receiver, but he has the ability to do a little bit of everything.
Noles247 has learned a few more important details on this weekend’s visit to Tallahassee. First of all, Harrison is set to arrive on Thursday night and will depart on Sunday. Harrison will not have any contact with the coaching staff or step on campus until Friday. This allows for a full visit, essentially beginning Friday morning and ending on Sunday. He'll get to spend a little extra one-on-one time with Willie Taggart and the staff prior to the full group of this weekend's official visitors arriving on campus Friday.

The FSU staff felt one of the reasons they were unable to land four-star receiver Jalen Hall out of California is because he arrived Saturday at 2pm and left Sunday at 2pm. Hall and Harrison have never visited FSU and it’s important to maximize their time on campus. Harrison will be on campus for the full amount of time allowed by the NCAA.

We’ve also learned the Harrison will be accompanied by his mother. Willie Taggart and receivers coach David Kellyhave an excellent relationship with Harrison and his mother, dating back to their time at Oregon, when Harrison was committed to the Ducks. Getting mom on campus is key if FSU expect to pull a prospect 3,000 miles from home.

I heard it's some 90's tour thing they got. I listened to the Jeff Cameron show and before they were going to get NOTHING but country music acts. I think the acts are safe and like you said hit across diff ages, races...
They smart by playing it safe ESP after Taggart saying he likes Kodak Black and this mudda turns around gets arrested..smh

I'm pretty sure with this being a night game, after hours of drinking during the tailgate and during the game. By the time they come out to perform MOST of the ppl who have a problem with the acts will be the same ones on the field (inebriated off they asses) about to break they damn ankles doing those old school moves they use to do.

Hearing Thugger and Uzi there on Friday night. Good weekend to have some Tribe19 and Tribe20 kids on campus. All those black alums gone treat it like a mini homecoming and you know FAMU folks gone be live that weekend too. Willie pushing all the right buttons.
