Considering some people spend a few hundred during the weekend just clubbing, shopping or on recreational drugs...there's little excuse to not be able to afford a plane ticket someplace.

I really don't get this. People will spend 90 dollars per night goin out on the weekend, but say they can't afford to travel. I think people don't realize how cheap it actually is.

I think what always stings for me is having to pay for a hotel.
It's great if you know people who can hold you down for a night or two. If they're family or close friends.

I decided a while ago that if I waited around for them, I'd never go anywhere, which was unacceptable to me. I joined a singles travel group!
