That Morey/China situation showed with Lebron and the majority of those NBA players are all about. All talk and not about that action out of the fear of hurting their reputation and losing out on those endorsements.

Let’s be honest. China has no bearing on US issues. You aren’t obligated to speak on some fukk ass China. If you want to fine if you don’t want to fine.

Well he and the NBA has a huge financial vested interest in China, so of course some people would want him to speak up about it.

It was a basic human rights issue that people wanted them to speak up about, yet they shyted on Morey into keeping quiet because they didn’t want him to fukk up their bread. You want to do business there, but don’t want to speak up about the issues plaguing that country.

I’m not talking about you though. We are talking about millionaires with vested financial interests in certain countries and are choosing to pick money over speaking out for basic human rights.

You’re seeing it now with how quiet Will Smith is about the issue, yet beforehand he was heavy on social media. You also saw it with the Saudi’s Arabia issue where peopled shyted on the WWE for choosing to still do business there.

I hear you...and even if I was getting money in China I wouldn’t give a damn...that’s none of my beef.

And that’s why the majority of them are all talk, but no action. They had the prime opportunity to show it during the Sterling incident, yet they chose to do that weak azz warm up jersey stunt that they pulled.

But when it’s something that resonates with them such as an event here and they provide their platform and money and time that clearly shows they care. So they clearly aren’t all talk...They just talk about what it is that resonates with them how can you knock that?

everyone picks and chooses

Because they had the prime opportunity to make a point during the Donald Sterling incident, yet they chose to do nothing. If they were really about that action then they would have boycotted games that night or took a knee in solidarity.

That’s why people shyted on them for the jersey incident which was a weak move. That’s why people are skeptical about what Matt Barnes is saying.

If these cats don’t get they ass out there and play or not. I don’t really care at this point.

I do stand by my statement that they should just have the playoffs with the 16 teams and screw this 22 team idea. But I guess they are testing it out.

This is all about recouping lost revenue so thats why they are doing the 22 teams, they had 1 star player in Lillard who would refuse to play if he had no chance to get into the playoffs, they have budding stars in Zion and Ingram that were in the hunt, and another star in D Booker who has a ton of fans but his team was never competitive. No reason not to try to get them involved :manny:

If you do the 16 teams then doing warmup games also becomes harder to setup, which also may increase injury or lower the quality of play.

NBA players stay doing this. :camby:

And I ain't mad at them for still playing. I'm mad they always bark loud about "We gonna do this!" and "We gonna do that!" and then don't do a damn thing but they sure make sure they get they daps and rep and PR points.

NBA players was talking all the shyt bout the NFL four years ago and saying they would never stand for it if it was happening in the NBA and then when they would get asked if they were going to kneel or anything they would :whoa:

:rudy:

You see it! :camby:
