Racism isn’t something that will just go away because there’s no sports for a year. We’re talking 400+ years of oppression.

And NFL players didn’t speak up until the world was burning and it was a hot topic that they couldn’t avoid

I sound like someone who has earned a check before.
This is what so many people are failing to consider. Barring a medical breakthrough, trials, and approval all occuring within the next 6 months we will be in the same exact boat for next season. At most this is a chance to salvage this season. At least this is a chance to go through trial and error and figure out what you can and can't do for next season. I also think people are failing to consider the impact that an incomplete season will have on the next season. I have asked numerous times and still haven't recieved a response to these questions:
1. How do you do the draft lottery? It's for non-playoff teams. If there are no playoffs do you just include every team in the lottery or do you just tell the playoff teams that didn't have a playoffst to play in that they get nothing...no ring and no young talent? Then how are are the lottery squads gonna feel about lower odds and top teams getting a shot?
2. How is FA gonna work? Cap and max salaries are already destined to fall. You don't finish the season and then what? How far will the cap fall? And this is on top of likely not having gate revenue for all of next season.
This is about way more than just finishing this season.
I can't knock the lesser team for not wanting to participate. I think they should just start with the playoffs. Even with that though, you still have the majority of teams there to be sacrificial lambs.
