The longest their job ever requires them to be away from their family is maybe a 2 week opposite coast road trip, and even then they can always bring their family with them if they want to. Being stuck in Disneyworld for 3 months is nowhere in the job description

If players are upset about being isolated with no freedom to move around in Orlando, they might just revolt at having to be stuck in the Dakotas, even with complete freedom.
I'd rather be in the Dakota's than Orlando in the middle of hurricane season.

Well yes, in normal times thats accurate. The NBA has done much for its players and it feels like players and the league have a good relationship.
Take one for the Team. Its only a couple weeks and the salary cap hit will be smaller.

This is wayyyyy different and uncharted territory though. A entire team could end up needed to get quarantined and essentially forfeit their chances of winning a championship.

Take for example most regular people aren’t happy with working during Covid and don’t even wanna be going back to work even right now.

Imagine 3 months off basketball relaxing with your family watching everything going on in the world and just dropping it all to get back in shape/move to Orlando and play for an 8th seed or 1st/2nd round exit
It's funny because I have the opposite reaction. I'm dying to get back to the office and away from home. But it's probably because I live with my girl and these pets. It might be different if I was solo. Also, I have a job that requires me to travel and meet people so basically being at home is a hindrance.
