Ya need to stop. This shyt ain't got nothing to do with health nor social reasons.

Some of these cats just don't feel like playing. Simple as that.

Instead of enjoying their offseason this summer, they now have to resume their season that began last year, at a neutral site, under heavy restrictions.

To some of them it probably sounds like summer school

i don't know... no women... no weed... they got you staying at a moderate resort in humid ass orlando florida when you're a multi-millionaire?

i could see how that might sound like it's not worth it, especially if you got your money right and you're not one of the few teams that could win the chip.:francis:
That's bordering on, if not outright, entitlement though. There's a reason cats have access to that money, women, weed, are multimillionaires, etc.; the foundation comes from actually doing your job. :yeshrug:

Got no issue with dudes giving up their salary not to play though, that's whatever.

I still don’t get the point in restarting the season, besides money.

Get the Draft out the way, then free agency, and come back again in September for training camp. This is just a disaster and I don’t blame the players for not wanting to play.

You could say the bolded about damn near everything. It's clearly about money.

How exactly do you do those things after an incomplete season? Lottery is made up of non-playoff teams. If there are no playoffs, what do you do? Include everyone? Just tell the contenders "Hey you get no shot at the chip and you get no shot at young studs"? And then with FA, you are already gonna have a lower cap. If you don't finish the season that shyt might fukk around and go back to 05 levels, meaning there really won't be any FA because no one will have any room.

Exactly. Every NBA player isn't obsessed with the game or even winning. Some guys look at it like a normal job. Beyond that, most of these teams are just filler. Who wants to go through all that quarantining and another training camp just to be a spot filler that provides someone to run over for the teams that actually have a shot are winning it all?

Idk I'm split. One hand hand safety is always going to be a concern, on the other hand it's in the most simple form your job.

You can't stay away from your family for 3 months?

The salary cap hit ist real and players will feel it too. Just fukking play.
