I have a homie from Michoacán (southern Mexico) who is brown. Looks kinda like Nav and is constantly assumed to be Indian (from India).

He is mostly Mayan ancestry and has told me that northern Mexicans (who are mostly of European ancestry) look down on southern Mexicans like him.

Either way, from my experience, Mexicans can be a confused bunch and are either hit or miss when it comes to dealing with American CACs. They will either kiss their asses or want absolutely nothing to do with them.

The Mexican that mass shot up a mall in Texas last year or something had a severe identity crisis..he said the only options was to either go Black or Cack, so he chose the latter and shot up a mall

Not really true. Mexico is a huge land and was home to many different ethnic groups. "Aztecs" weren't an ethnic group, they were a congregation of different ethnic groups(like the Mexica people, that still exist today in Mexico) united under the Aztec nation. Nahuatl, the main language of the Aztec nation, is still spoken by millions of Mexicans today.

PS: You could say the groups that existed in the region were genetically different to each other at the time tough...But I don't think it really mattered much...

So this Mexican chick (a coworker of mine ) was telling us today about her husband's parents. She just had a 2nd baby (girl) several months to a year ago, their other baby(girl) is not much older, like maybe 2 yrs old. And they recently went to visit her husband's parents in Mexico to let them see the baby.

While they were visiting, his parents kept making comments about how the new baby is "so much prettier than their other baby girl bc her skin is so much lighter". My coworker was obviously hurt by this.

Damn, how ignorant can you be to say sht like that about a baby? Much less your own grandbabies. And then they told my coworker that she is "a terrible mother", bc she went back to work after several months on maternity leave, rather than quitting her career to stay hone 24/7.

Yep…there’s division in Mexico with white, European Mexicans on top having the majority of the wealth and power and politics while the natives/ mestizos are on the bottom. Pretty much true throughout Latin America.

There’s division across the globe… I went to Spain…they don’t like Latin Americans… Spanish folks are divided Spanish ppl (Madrid) vs Catalonia (Barcelona)… they even speak a different language (Catalonia)… hell I learned that Spain had a 3 year civil war…

But the Catalonia ppl were terrorized from 1939-1979…
