that's the flaw i see with her plan, i can look at me and my black friends who went to grad school and took out 6 figure debt to do it. yea the salary column says we make a lot but between high COL, undergrad & grad debt, and like zero tax breaks/inability to even write off student loan interest, we're getting hit hard for our attempt to better our position

edit: if we were talking 20-60k of debt, i might agree with pressure, but 6 figure student debt is hitting for more than a lot of american's mortgage

I think COL is a bigger issue here and not student debt.

I paid more for a bedroom in SF than I did for a penthouse apartment in Charlotte.

It's worth noting that affordable housing is a big part of her plan.

Edit: For any candidate I think it's worth looking at the entirety of their platform. Sometimes a deficiency in one policy is picked up in another.

That's not what I said, the original point was that Bernie had been fighting for these issues for 40 years and Warren hasn't. She may be on the right side now but Bernie has the history of being right on issues. That's a difference between them regardless of when she got into politics. She had to be convinced that the Republican party was fukked up even though she was living through the Reagan administration while Bernie knew what the deal was since he was getting arrested for marching in the civil rights movement.
