bernie better and will challenge the system while warren is taking general election big money (sorry no excuse for it, NOTHING big will change if she does im telling you) and cozying up to dem establishment saying dont worry im not THAT bad, people here just hate Bernie so theyre making it about bullshyt that warren is better "executively" theyre elitist. it was all about warren and her plans, then bernie releases mad plans that go further than hers or plans that address issues that she hasnt yet and not a peep from the warren stans but if warren had those plans theyd be praising it. its so obvious.

warren is the ted cruz of the Democratic establishment, the last hope cause they dont want to nominate bernie

if it dont apply let it fly. storyteller I know is cool. if you feel like it dont apply to you then its fine, i dont mean everyone and i shyt on trump too and the right in general check the conservative idiot megathread, i post here and there in all threads. I dont care that she used to be a repub honestly. i care cause I dont believe shes gonna try her hardest for medicare for all, i dont like her taking big money in the general. it defeats her not taking money in the primary. she might as well. i dont see what the difference is. i care that shes having meetings with the establishment. i just personally see her as the best you can get in the neoliberal system but shes still in the neoliberal system, bernie is trying to change that system and thats what i want, ill prob go hard for warren if she does win and its her vs trump, i dont see her as a biden or hilary but she still isnt no bernie by a long shot

I think bernie would truely end the bs sanctions on Venezuela & curb U.S. intervention in stuff they have no business in . I think that warren would continue the bs
warren will for sure continue it. she would be exactly like obama. bernie, i dont know that he would end sanctions, i for sure dont think wed get in any new wars but i dont know how much he would back off, is he going to withdraw completely from iraq/Afghanistan ? is he going to stop the drone bombings in countless countries ? i honestly dont know. i dont think he would completely stop it but i do think of all the candidates, hed be the least hawkish

I gotta say early in Bernie's presidential bid he was agreeable to US current foreign policy. He has switched it up and started disagreeing with a lot of it but I think he was being calculating, signaling to the Establishment on some "I'll let a lot of the pro-war/intervention shyt go if you let me do my thing domestically."

When people say there is a massive gulf between Bernie and Liz on foreign policy, what are they talking about? Bernie is still tossing up pretty tepid critiques of American imperialism. He's obviously more comfortable talking about America's history of fukkery across the globe, and that's great and makes him a better candidate on FP than Liz imo, but the idea that he's Noam fukking Chomsky strikes me as ridiculous. I've seen no evidence for this. He was talking that both sides shyt on Venezuela, he was hedging on North Korea, his statements and position on Israel-Palestine are more or less the same as hers. Again, I believe Bernie is better than her on FP because of the centrality of his historical analysis, but it's not like their differences are incredibly stark. Neither of them subscribes to the traditional Blob establishment thinking. In fact, Liz's stated plans to utilize America's global economic weight and status to bring about progressive standards and movements across the globe shows a kind of novel thinking on FP that I don't see from Bernie. Who is Liz bombing that Bernie won't? Who is Liz invading that Bernie won't? Very early on in the campaign she was talking about ending the Forever Wars.

Lotta Bernie stans act like Liz is some fukking warhawk who loves bombing countries for the fukk of it. Yes, she took a single bad vote on Trump's military budget. What else? I honestly see this as people just lazily porting their FP critiques of Hillary to Liz.

If she's taking big donor and company money, that's all you need to know. Those people don't give money out without assurances.

They're running a blitz and throwing everything at Bernie + the kitchen sink. Vote for whoever the rich are afraid of. Can't possibly go wrong.

Her rationale in taking corporate cash is one i can’t entirely begrudge her on in a general election scenario.

The Koch’s, Mercers, Adelsons... and all the dark money that hit in October 2016 is going to happen in October 2020.

The airwaves in battleground states were flooded. Senate races that had Dem polling with a lead completely flipped.

How the fukk do you combat that?
Imagine kneecapping the most progressive candidate in generations by demanding they unilaterally disarm and get outspent 10-1 by the worst actors in American society. Bernie and Liz would already be facing an uphill battle with smears and lies from centrists and Republicans, now they have to fight with one arm behind their back? $27 ain't doing shyt compared to the guns the other side are bringing. A lot of people live in a fantasy. :stopitslime:

I trust both Liz and Bernie to hold true to their principles if they win. Their entire brands are made up of being progressive, it's impossible for me to believe Liz takes it easy on Wall Street because they donated to her campaign, or Bernie takes it easy on Walmart because they donated to his campaign. :unimpressed:

Elizabeth Warren is the only candidate in this race who has pledged to not trade access for money in the primary. She has taken no Washington lobbyist money or PAC money, she has refused to solicit billionaires to set up or run super PACs for her, she has no dark-money groups supporting her campaign, and she has done no behind-closed-doors campaign fundraisers with wealthy donors that are so typical in modern political campaigns. She has instead opted to use that time to speak with the people who come out to her events when they're finished. She has the most progressive primary campaign funding pledge in this race. Which is why weirdos have to resort to these bizarre, blatantly false memes:

Bernie won't do anything he wants without a congress thats even open to his world view.

You have to accept that European mindsets are different from American visions of society.
we are different but trending in their direction, both in our far left and far right. we are a society that will have more open and empowered socialists and nazis going forward. i think the question is how fast will this happen. the far right in america today is sounding worried about the economy and the ecosystem, which is a hard departure from normal american right wing attitudes. this economy has actually changed the brains of young voters. the normal politics of america are looking more like the politics of the elderly. all they can really do is hold on until they die off.

but for now, i agree, congress is a problem. that is why bernie wants to focus on movement politics that function in every politicians backyard in order to have some leverage. it might or might not work, but i think it is worth a shot.

Warren stood up and clapped for Trump's stupid speech. Bernie did not.
