We're going to have a female president one day, but not this election cycle. All the rural white midwesterners are going to view Warren as this uppity female professor trying to tell me what to do. Unfortunate but that's the reality of this country.

The student loan forgiveness under Sanders would be paid for by the people making stock transactions. That doesn't include the poor or most of the middle class. The plan includes a 0.1% tax on all stock transactions to pay for it . You know this because we discussed it before. The biggest two things are:
1) consistency - Bernie held similar positions for 30+ years and never let himself become tainted by Washington
2) Bernie can mobilize the masses. Imagine Bernie as president striking and supporting protests/labor strikes/etc. would be huge to get any change done because politics itself is not enough
