To be fair Tandy was an a$$hole last season to everyone. Tried to merk Phil and Todd and sleep with All the women based on lies. They're just getting him back. I'm sure he will redeem himself in the next episode or so. But I can't help but think that once his brother returns from space, everyone is gonna like him more than Tandy and then we are gonna go through all this again. What happened to the balls?
It's to the point where I want Tandy to start being a dikk again, just to get some revenge.
I guess, but these characters seemed to have been having a great time until Tandy showed up. Now he's eating up the cheese and spitting it back out on the plate, being annoying as hell to the females and Todd seems to be avoiding him like the plague to tend to something else. Not to mention he almost gave everyone a heart attack by sticking a gun in their face. It's not like anyone has any reason to be happy for him being there. I mean they did burn down his house and move to Malibu to get away from him.
Well it's a nice change to see humble Tandy turning the other cheek. Whatever they throw at him he's being the bigger man and even being harsher on himself than they are. It was his stupid idea for the dog collar and voice collar. All they suggested was solitaire. Tandy was the one that took it to the extreme. Girl was just having fun with the beers. If he can run over to the pool, he should have taken the shock to grab those beers.
It's a new society breh. Tandy is really the first "criminal" to break the "law" of this new society so they are coming up with punishments basically off the whim. I don't believe that they are trying to be as mean as Tandy is on himself. They let him stay in a room after taking him out of the head lock thing. He's being an idiot taking things to the extreme. Also, he talks too much. If he would just shut up, then maybe they would like him, but it's his own mouth and foolish antics (eating the cheese, scaring them with a gun) that is turning them against him. They haven't tortured him since Carol can bring him stuff easily and I'm sure they aren't gonna kill him if he escapes the box. The title of the episode was do the crime, do the time. I think he's done his time, and the next episode will show that. The sneek peak already showed him blackmailing Todd about what he's hiding so I'm sure Tandy (Phil) isn't completely innocent yet. No matter how good he tries to be, you know it's just time before he does something bad again.
but I don't feel for characters who are acting like complete a$$holes as a way of get back and, in my eyes, going way over the line now.
I will say tough that they could have gotten a better cast beside carol and phil. I think we are thinking of them as so evil and mean to Tandy because we haven't spent any time with them this season and only see the bad stuff they are doing to Tandy. But really, the black chick and the old woman haven't done anything mean to him. Todd hasn't either. It's only the blonde chick and black Phil that are being a$$holes and for good reason (tried to smash blondie and kill her bf Todd and tried to kill black Phil). So to me things are pretty even. If we got to see them burning down his house and reason for dipping to Malibu then maybe they would seem like big a$$holes. I think the passing of Will Farells character got them really mad too. Wish they had more explanation to who he was. Would have given us a better ideo of why they are being a$$holes since singing informer on the beach like a bunch of happy folks.Normally I'd be with you on stuff but I can't on this one. I'm not saying he's a good dude at all but their actions right now make him look damn right angelic. And while we were talking about this I was reading a review on the AV Club and the writer said the same thing so I know I'm not crazy
I thought they broke up? Anyways, I'm just waiting to see Tandy (Phil)'s brother come back from space. They jumped the gun last season showing him, now I have to keep reminding myself there's still a lot of story to tell. I think Phil 2.0 will get killed off (can only be one Phil) or he will become the new Tandy and get chased out of Malibu by the end of the season. They are both a$$holes, but at least Tandy is trying.
