Any CS brehs in Germany looking for a tough but well paying C++ role?

120K EUR in year two and they are now open to remote work.

not sure if that means global-remote.

Does anyone here know of any resources to find a mentor in software development/programming? Specifically a black programmer.
I've been a Senior Data Analyst for a major label for 5 years and just need some guidance on pivoting careers.

you need to study depth and breadth.

watch computerphile and crashcourse (computer science playlist) - all videos on youtube for breadth.

also here re. mentors possibly : Chapters – Blacks In Technology Foundation

Thanks brother.
I've surprisingly never heard of depth and breadth.
Is it more important than Data Structures and Algorithims? Which i've been told to master.

I just mean in terms of general knowledge. It helps to learn your specialisation in depth but it also helps to have a broad understanding of many other areas of IT.

While breh is talking about just general knowledge, if you ever get into it, here's a link about depth first search and breadth first search:

What's good brehs. Long time lurker, finally got an account recently. I've been working in software development for about 5 years now as a full stack engineer. I wanted to know if any of you experience imposter syndrome? It was really bad when I first started a few years ago, but seems to have lessen a good bit and I've gotten over most of it, but sometimes it still bites me here and there. If any of you guys experienced that do you have any tips of getting over it?

brehs are far more likely to encounter "imposter creh-i-tis" where crehs think you, the professional / cv / resume you, is pretending to be someone else; someone more capable.

development is a results game so your deliverables will demonstrate your ability over time and will help with any notions of imposterhood.

I feel like that's what's been helping me so far over the years. It's a weird thing to encounter, just little things here and there. Doesn't make much sense, but I just keep grinding and pushing. Appreciate the feedback.

What is impostor syndrome?
feeling like you dont belong. Like you're a self taught coder and get a job. The job you got, all your coworkers went to school for coding/CS with degrees and shyt. Making you feel like you shouldnt be there, since you went to a bootcamp or grinded on your own coding wise. Seems kind of a big deal from looking at the programming/dev reddits.

I hope I don't experience it, but who knows(still learning to code). At the end of the day the company hired you for a reason. If you didnt belong there, you wouldnt have made it thru the interviews and shyt. :manny:
