Yes, you can. All my money goes straight to my account and I only pay taxes on my country of residence. Some guys I work with are scattered all across European countries. The beauty of it all for me is that I work using my countries timezone and by the time my US co-workers are awake, i'm damn near done with my work for the day. Only downside is me having to log back in for meetings during my evening hours (its usually morning/noon for US based guys).

for the backend Java with spring-boot , spring data and spring security. Also maven.
front-end was just react . the repo is on GitHub which i can share if anybody is interested.

hosting the backend on heroku , frontend on netlify.
:salute: spring/java skill are cash money baby. If spring was around when I started I might have been a java guy instead of a c# guy

Nuxt JS :wow: First time going from MVC framework to SPA. This seems way quicker to create websites :wow:
:patrice: mvc gives you the whole kit and caboodle though, with nuxt you still gotta build out the backend or use some backend as a service shyt like firebase.

C# is gaining on Java as the defacto language of choice for enterprise applications. Simply because of the amazing things Microsoft has down with the latest versions of .NET

I won't give too many details because I don't know who browses this forum.
Edit: I'm paranoid because, I can't talk about my work too much, no cap. So, I deleted a lot of detail I had typed up. I can just say, he has worked here longer than some people here have been alive but still calls major parts of our system by the wrong name and doesn't know the most basic details I've learned like the back of my hand after being with the team only five months. He will ask you about something as if it is just for informational purposes about what you're working on or worked on and next thing you know in your next stand-up meeting, he will say he fixed it or did it :why::why: He merged a bug into our main code branch last week without opening a code review. He merged other things on top of it too which made undoing it more a chore instead of just undoing the last commit. This dude is several levels and years of experience over me and we still have to explain occasionally how to use very basic shyt in git. Hell, how to just do basic shyt in general.

Its ok not to know shyt, I'm not one of these elitist snobby nerd types, and I despise people like that because not everyone learns at the same pace or will always be at the same level. But he is also arrogant and pretends he knows everything and talks to people like they are dumb because he has a higher position than most simply from being there so long.

If this dude was black, I wonder if he would still be here...:stopitslime: He is fukking stupid. Again, I only say this because he acts like a fukking fakkit on top of being dumb.

I do ok for my experience level, though I'm always trying to upgrade. But I found out this dude is making significantly more than most people on the team except one other person, but we are the ones telling him to not merge shyt without opening a pull request into the main branch :dahell: .
I asked someone how is he still around and from what I heard, he threaten legal action over something before I joined and so now management has been treading really carefully dealing with him. Also management supposedly screwed up not properly documenting his performance in the past

This is actually more common than you may think. You see this quite a bit, especially in government or education.
