Slow and steady wins the race. :blessed:. If this is the first programming you've ever done just be ready because some days it will feel like you don't know anything and are a million miles away. But just keep plugging away and you'll get there

I'm sure this question has been asked here several times. What do the senior software engineers in here advise, PC or Mac? Also, could you please list a couple of recommendations?

It really depends on what tech stack you'd be spending most of your time in. The primary project I work on requires me to build to an iOS device or simulator via Xcode so I have to use a Mac. It's the machine I prefer to use but I could easily get away with working with a PC on Windows or Linux

Mac unless you need visual studio. I love windows but trying to manage python dev environments on it was hell back in the day. And i much prefer bash and zsh to powershell

Sounds like the subreddit I mentioned earlier. I mean 150k after a few years based on all the reasonable observations about the industry I read isn't absurd in higher COL places. But I learn a lot of online spaces you have to deal with snobbish elitistism that you can tell is making some of these dudes tell duck tales about salaries to big up themselves. They are having junior developers out think their average starting salaries without experience should be 300k with base salary and stock options. I mean if you're top of the class from a top school at a top company, OK. But the average dude isn't making that.

Is if cool if I hit some you guys up in PMs with questions and stuff in the coming weeks/months?

Dude running the bootcamp says networking will help a lot and I figure why not start here.
