Dude is not a main eventer.

Not only do you have to deal with Vince and his team of failed soap oprea writers, but you've got to deal with its stockholm syndrome stooge fans like the above pretending it's YOUR fault you're not over.

Dudes are eating so good now in New Japan, AEW, even look at Marty's deal at ROH, with more creative freedom and less dates that you'd be a fool to let these idiots manage your career.

What's Ricohet even gonna be worth if he leaves in a few years when his contract expires?

It's crazy, people talked about Ricochet like he was on another level beyond Ospreay, and Ospreay has lapped this muthafukka and is about to be one of New Japan's top heavyweight talents. And if it's JUST about the money for you, then Ospreay if he wanted could get a way bigger contract with WWE than whatever Ricochet is on now. Because he built his rep up in a company that actually knows how to nurture talent and get people over. He didn't just jump at the first deal HHH threw at him like a mark .

I've got little sympathy for Ricochet because the fact is, how on earth could you expect a different outcome than this?

None of this happens in a vacuum. Lio Rush, Cedric Alexander and ACH's respective stories since they signed should be cautionary tales to any Black talent thinking about signing. People (even some on here) questioned ACH's mental state for wanting to leave, after they gave him a minstrel smile shirt. Proved himself to be the smartest guy out of the lot of them though.

Isn't MVP there now? Outside chance Ricochet gets him as a mouthpiece, I guess, but even still where will that put his ceiling?

Swerve should be sweating bullets too - and he signed up after being the face of a smaller company in MLW, going over Matt Riddle for the title. Can't help but feel they'll do him the same as everyone else, though. I know he changed his name in case he wanted to leave when his contract was up, so at least he's shown some foresight.

Bianca and Dream are both easily over enough to be champions, but they probably won't ever get there.

Dudes are marks for the logo, though - so they'll sign up on the strength of that regardless, thinking that Vince won't do them the same. But he will.
