Dude came into the WWE like he was hot shyt and basically got his company man on, yet surprised that he loses to a CAW:

This has to be Vince firing subs at AEW.
In his mind, that place is all indy flippy shyt, so he takes his most dynamic, acrobatic guy and have him lose to the prototypical WWE big man in Brock, then have him lose to the bottom-ranked WWE big man in Moss, like he's trying to program the fans to think that even the low-tier E types are better than the type of guys AEW sent out there to do that tag match on Revolution.
It's chess not checkers, I guess, but... Vince needs to stop making people who genuinely love wrestling into pawns on his strange little board in a game he's playing against himself.

There should have been no way you fukk up Ricochet. Even if you leave him in the undercard his whole career; dude does crazy stuff in the ring and could be a mainstay in the IC/US scene for a long time, maybe even getting fan support to make a run at the top on some more athletic Kofi shyt. But having him lose to the 24/7 title holder who spent half a decade in NXT and still can't work?

:camby:

How Riddikk Moss been on the 'main roster' for a couple months and still somehow booked stronger than Ricochet and Black is :mindblown: It's like they cannot help themselves but to push the same kind of guys as they did in the 80s and anyone who works differently or looks different is destined to, at best, be built up to be taken out by one of those anachronistic 80s muscle types.

Dream. Bruh. Stop asking to be called up. nikka gonna end up in a gay panic angle with Santina Marela or some shyt.

Non-NXT WWE is just a fukking self-parody at this point.

Just not much to him other than some cool looking moves :manny: but yeah they should send him back to NXT or he should go to AEW, he'll be treated better definitely. I didnt care much for Finn on the main roster but his new NXT run been solid imo
:mjlol: Ricochet is possibly the most athletic wrestler in the history of the business

but seriously, Matt Morgon on the wrestling inc podcast saying it's a damn shame where Rico at. other 2 guys saying MVP should manage him

Matt saying he should be a cocky athletic dude (as a joke) bragging about the shyt he could pull of in the ring.

I like the idea of the young, cock, flashy dude gimmick. He could even improve his promos via TNA Lashley by going this route. The MVP manager idea isn’t a bad one, either. There’s always time long term where he can return to face status and they’ll maybe get it right by then. I DON’T wanna hear the genetic ass “It’s all because of You” pointing to the fans excuse tho.

Typical flippy playfighter who can't cut a promo.

This is why you're crazy if your a talent like Ricochet and you join the WWE in 2020.

Not only do you have to deal with Vince and his team of failed soap oprea writers, but you've got to deal with its stockholm syndrome stooge fans like the above pretending it's YOUR fault you're not over.

Dudes are eating so good now in New Japan, AEW, even look at Marty's deal at ROH, with more creative freedom and less dates that you'd be a fool to let these idiots manage your career.

What's Ricohet even gonna be worth if he leaves in a few years when his contract expires?

It's crazy, people talked about Ricochet like he was on another level beyond Ospreay, and Ospreay has lapped this muthafukka and is about to be one of New Japan's top heavyweight talents. And if it's JUST about the money for you, then Ospreay if he wanted could get a way bigger contract with WWE than whatever Ricochet is on now. Because he built his rep up in a company that actually knows how to nurture talent and get people over. He didn't just jump at the first deal HHH threw at him like a mark .

I've got little sympathy for Ricochet because the fact is, how on earth could you expect a different outcome than this?

Adam Cole is up next ya'll.

At this point, can you really even be shocked?

None of this happens in a vacuum. Lio Rush, Cedric Alexander and ACH's respective stories since they signed should be cautionary tales to any Black talent thinking about signing. People (even some on here) questioned ACH's mental state for wanting to leave, after they gave him a minstrel smile shirt. Proved himself to be the smartest guy out of the lot of them though.

Isn't MVP there now? Outside chance Ricochet gets him as a mouthpiece, I guess, but even still where will that put his ceiling? :ld:

Swerve should be sweating bullets too - and he signed up after being the face of a smaller company in MLW, going over Matt Riddle for the title. Can't help but feel they'll do him the same as everyone else, though. I know he changed his name in case he wanted to leave when his contract was up, so at least he's shown some foresight.

Bianca and Dream are both easily over enough to be champions, but they probably won't ever get there.

Dudes are marks for the logo, though - so they'll sign up on the strength of that regardless, thinking that Vince won't do them the same. But he will. :unimpressed:

Dude doesn't really have it factor so he's replaceable.

He's a generic babyface that coasts off his athleticism & quite frankly that isn't good enough when you got like 10+ other people that can do what you do.

Thing is though, It has nothing to do with race. Vince is just an idiot (or a genius) when it comes to holding talent down:

RVD
Christian
Zach Ryder
Ryback
Nakamura :mindblown:
Strowman
American Alpha
Jinder (Say what you will but dude should at least be upper midcard for life after his run)
Sami Zayn
Cesaro
Rusev Day
Matt Hardy was the most over wrestler in the business before he came back

And thats just off the top of my head

Doesn't have the it factor? :what:

Will Ospreay is literally the only other person on the planet that can do what Ricochet can.

Everybody can do flips breh.

Nothing stands out about dude. He has no charisma.

He got away with it in Lucha underground cuz of the mask , but the talent pool is too deep on the roster.

How is he any different than a Mustafa Ali, any of the 205 guys, etc who can do these acrobatics.

Go ahead & tell me.:jbhmm:

When he can show charisma like a kofi or a montez then maybe my opinion might change.
