cutting talent wouldn't be a bad thing...they're not doing anything with most of them..at least cut the people who haven't really been progressing in developmental.

They need to cut talent, too many guys going nowhere collecting a check

Even though they have a clear monopoly, for some reason they're scared of even letting undercarders and PC trainees go to NJPW, GFW, ROH, Mexico.

Yup, remember folks SD was only brought in to battle Thunder. More TV, More Matches, More Costs, Overall Saturation of product. It'll be hard to cancel Smackdown and go to one show a week.

People forget though that Sunday Night Heat in it's first year was pretty prominent. It was pretty much an SD test run.

All fair points. I'm never going to call for people to start losing jobs, but I can't argue the logic here.

All in all, the current model for the E is unsustainable given where they're at. They are overloaded with talent and have limited options for getting a return on that investment. Something has to give eventually.

It won't help guys in the future and I hate this monopoly but I'm kind of happy for the actual wrestlers that are getting paid. Non-wrestlers can get jobs at any other type of industry after WWE but WWE pays the most for guys who have to take bumps for a living.

Ever since Smackdown was introduced in 99, the product slowly started dying, mainly because storylines had stretched to accommodate the B show.

The brand extension helped curb this, but now theres too much talent which means more salaries to be paid.

The E needs to go back RAW and RAW only. Obviously won't happen, but it would improve things.

Raw supposed to be the superior brand and been trash for years

I haven't been paying attention. Have they been scrubbing all of these canceled shows from the network/yt or do they keep them up? Archiving all of this stuff before it disappears might make for a fun weekend project.

More writing, more talent, both shows have to be balanced. PG/3 Hour slot didn't help.
