One of the many problems with only digital besides the ones mentioned such as the monopoly it would create (where they’d have little incentive to decrease game prices especially as low as they do) is no possibility for backwards compatibility at least not till PS7 or whatever’s the 2nd all digital gen

I’d prolly still eventually cop but it won’t be till it drops drastically in price even if it’s like 5 years later. I’d just go to PC especially if they gone have the same games

I've been all digital for games for a while now,. But i still think disk drives are needed for movies. Not everything is on streaming services.

I doubt there will be any “next gen” discs. But there will probably be a solution for backwards compatible disc users.

I was pretty much 85% digital last Gen.

This gen all of my games are digital

No it won’t. Microsoft likely will. Sony will probably give you the disc drive option. Nintendo most certainly will not be all digital.
