Physical has been losing ground ever since games started getting all kinds of updates and DLC.

A lot of games are barely playable without a Day 1 patch, so there's really no point anymore.

Music is all digital as well as PC (which people conveniently ignore)

The difference being that there’s multiple options to purchase digital music and PC gaming, so that one company isn’t able to completely control the price.

It's gonna be all digital and that's fine.
Movies is what's gonna be obnoxious to me.
Not all movies/shows are available on streaming and I don't want to have a drive full of movie files.

Plus i don't notice a difference in picture quality between digital games and disc games. They run the exact same.
You can still get a physical movie with a better quality picture than streaming,

My issue is only having one place to buy the games from. I've been team physical because i there are more opportunities for sales or grabbing a game from the homies.

There are still plenty of places that buy physical outside of US. I think what you are seeing with PS5 Pro is what you will see, an option to add the disc drive.

I always support physical, it allows me to play more games and can get it for cheaper prices. The only way I will go Digital is if console prices started resembling Steam prices.
