So When Do Humans Gain Conciousness?

where does it reside? where does it come from? and why is our own unique to soley humans?

I'm trying to figure out what this "consciousness" is that you speak of. and how you would know other animals don't have it

there's a lot of beings on this planet that are the only ones that do what they do. ultimately we're just all forms of life that found different niches

unfortunately we have issues communicating, but that doesn't mean I should assume something about her consciousness. I wouldn't expect her to "share our consciousness", because she's a cat. but at the same time we do share a lot. our brains have much more in common than human brains and lizard brains

So you're just referring to human consciousness. Animals have a level of consciousness we don't have. It's why they can tell when danger is coming long before we can.

we dont have to assume anything your right but anyone on here can tell you that your cat has no interest in humanly things but, is it because she doesnt have the ability or focus instead of her just not genuinely wanting to?(do other animals even have concious wants?) i dont think its a stretch to say yes to all of those minus the parantheses unless you have some type of proof of something different, maybe then you can demonstrate with an example or leave some video evidence in here, otherwise its very fair and not illogical at all

they are acting off of a reward system though like getting peanuts for copying successfully


to be fair i have seen some experiments were they are trying to get them to recognize their own reflection or something like that ill see if i can find it
