I've gotten few numbers from social media and beyond meeting with females...it's down to cards you're dealt and your mouthpiece. 
I've been noticing for a while when I'm out with my young buls and headbussas and they doing they thing getting at girls that Instagram/Snapchat/Twitter names are asked for and not phone numbers, by both sides.
Someone explain what makes a social media name better than an actual phone number. How is getting access to a bunch of selfies and ten second clips better than a direct line to a possible love interest?

get the # & dip, no IG twitta only gets used 4-6 times the last 2 yrs, fb for my island cousins post a status once every 2 months

Plenty of reasons why people would rather communicate via social media then the phone.
-you can always get visuals/video/pics in messenger apps or PMs.
-easier to multitask, and talk to multiple people at once. Unless you are in front of a computer or running your smartphone on Wi-Fi, can't communicate with more then one person at a time (at the best its a little more difficult)
-easier to attach social media profiles to faces. Its happened to most guys.....how many times have you mixed up phone numbers with faces/names?
There are other reasons......too stoned to think of the rest!

yeah social media really fukked people up. mainly because its a shortcut and now everyone is starting to have an inability to communicate. its probably why their so hesitant to be straight up and direct about asking for phone numbers.

asking for the IG is a good ice breaker it lets them see what you on and visa versa also you can work your way to the number once they reach a comfort and go from there. otherwise you dealing with issues texting and not texting etc blah blah and storing a number you will never call etc etc it weeds out most of the flaky bytches. I had this fine little redbone thang rant on twitter after I exchanged the social media with her...forehead was big af

internet forum is an anonymous way to gauge public reaction to your comments/thoughts/ideas, if you make a bad "post" IRL you reputation is done, and I am not just talking about some "neg reps"
