It was definitely after Henry beat him for the title. He hasn't been the same since.

He suddenly became fresh again after the double heel turn at SummerSlam, but then the storyline made me realize that it wasn't Orton being a face that was the problem. It was him being on cruise control that was the problem, and it continues to be the problem.

I notice that the company gives him something interesting to do (Aligning with Triple H, the Lesnar match, the promo he cut on Rollins) and then as soon as it happens, he just goes right back to being stale.
