When he lost the WHC to Mark Henry. Even though he was a face in 2010 and 2011, at least he was still a bit of a psycho. He's lame as hell now being all buddy-buddy with Sheamus. Infact him and Sheamus are both lame as hell.

this, but in saying that the legend killer gimmick never really caught on the way it should have.And that was for no other reason than orton's lack of charisma.If anything E brass should have seen right there and then that if he couldnt get over by taking out legends he was a loss cause but they are just too stubborn

Orton is a strange cat to me.
A lot of the IWC like him. He's been over to very over most of his career.
A ton of wrestlers and legends that I respect co sign him.
But I just never saw it with him. On paper he's great. He looks the part and has the whole 3rd generation stuff but I could never, ever understand people talking about him in the same breath as Austin or Rock.
He has no charisma and has been stale for 95% for his career.
If he was huge and scary like Batista or Brock, he'd play the limited speaking swah role well...but a guy like him should be able to talk and it seems weird that he's so bland on the mic.

The legacy breakup fukked all 3 of their characters up. I don't understand why they didn't acknowledge Cody getting cheered by the crowd after Orton RKO Dusty at the end of Raw.
They teased like Cody was gonna go after him and when showing replays piped in Cena chants.
Ted Jr had a similar deal and they pretty much never made anything of it. Then they had a blowoff certain jerker match at Mania which of course Orton made them look like bytches.

When he's a heel he's arguably the best guy in the entire fukking company, but the moment they turn him face he loses momentum and fans start to lose interest.
