So when are we going to get a 30 for 30 for Arvydas Sabonis?

Was overrated to me. Fukk that nikka

What exactly made him overrated? His play in the NBA, if anything, should indicate how good of a player he actually was. He cemented his legacy by coming over to the NBA, broken, and still producing at a really, really high level. His per minute numbers are amazing, and he could barely get off the floor when he played in the NBA.

He was an efficient scorer, great passer and rebounder and elite defensively... and this was his performances between the ages 31-38 in the NBA, after having an achilles tear, multiple leg injuries and developed chronic knee, ankle and groin issues because he was rushed back every single time by the USSR. The screwed him over badly.

Not to mention that this guy went back to play in Europe after his NBA career and won the Euroleague MVP at the age of 39!!!. That is insane.

Nothing indicates he was overrated really.

And yes, a 30 for 30 needs to happen. People need to realize how broken down he was when he arrived in the NBA, and despite that managed to produce excellent numbers and be a part of some pretty successful Blazer teams.
