I'll give credit to them trying something different. Definitely has a different vibe to it and could be an outlet for those with amateur wrestling or MMA backgrounds to shine, get noticed and give some of these talent something to do.
With that said, the presentation of this concept was absolutely atrocious.
The way it was presented last night seems extremely forced, more of an angle, and came off as a desperate ploy to create buzz and trend on Twitter than a genuine attempt to generate something that could grow organically and build a legitmate buzz on its own. Given how much different a concept it is than RAW/Smackdown, it shouldn't be force-fed to RAW viewers; if you're going to promote something as underground and (no pun intended) raw, then it should its own show. More specifically, it should be WWE Network only show and is completely independent from anything happening on RAW or Smackdown (i.e. no storyline crossovers, no Ziggler trying to convince R-Truth to visit, etc.). Also it should have an underground feel, so no polished, network TV production and no one with the last name of McMahon should have any on-screen involvement at all.

I was thoroughly entertained plus as long as you're on TSC at the same time reading comments shyt is even more fukkery filled and hilarious.
This is probably the only time where I don't mind the insane amount of camera cuts since the pace is fast. The background music works too.

Eh I don't agree with any of this
Yes bruh it's clearly an angle, this is something being added to spice up the show they're not shoot fights
I also don't think it should be its own thing, the point is to add variety to a variety show and it's a format that will succeed more for now as intermission segments during Raw that also help move forward storylines and build characters as opposed to a Network only separate thing that caters to a niche and exists more in a vacuum.
I also think the presentation was spot on. I don't want an underground fight club in WWE, otherwise just watch UFC. I want something that looks like you're watching an underground fight club in a movie. That means it needs to have some polish and production. Shane is also a great on-screen figure to be involved in this. He's the "cool" McMahon and the idea of a rich millionaire starting up his own fight club out of boredom / intrigue is, again, something out of a movie.
I just think presenting matches in an underground fight club format when a lot of worked matches these days emulate "shoot" elements and copy from MMA with the strikes and submissions is a very interesting idea. Double that if they're using the show to progress storylines as well.

Man..... I don’t know (or won’t say rather) if this was good or bad
But all’s I’s knows is the same people defending this or praising Vince and the WWE for trying something new are the same people that shytted on companies like TNA who used to have 6 sided rings, reverse battle royals, king of the mountain matches, ultimate X matches, and etc for trying something new.
They still laugh at that at that first TNA vs RAW Monday Night War ep with Homicide and etc in the red steel cage, and WCW with the 3 cage match among some other WCW gimmick matches.
And there was a trying something new gimmick matches/angles matches that AEW has done a few weeks/months back that the same folks laughed and shytted on
So I think we need to first acknowledge that or is that gonna be one of those
things
