So what will it take for people to FINALLY stand up to government corruption/incompetence?

every week there's a new story about how some financial institution is getting record guap like :blessed:

while more and more regular people are struggling like :flabbynsick:

not to mention our obvious war-mongering/imperialism for profiteering

and blatant corporate control over public policies

and a government that spies on us arbitrarily

and drone attacks killing all kinds of non-military personnel abroad

(add on)

and about a thousand other criminal acts perpetrated by the US government in the past 10 years or so (we'll limit it to 10 years for the sake of brevity)

and now the US government just went ahead and shut it down on all you bytches, shoe program nikka :myman:

what will it take for ENOUGH people to do something? by that i mean, what will it take for people to take PHYSICAL ACTION towards creating a better society?

Uncertain grounds
maybe a war that makes a draft happen...other than that, probably nothing. just isnt gonna happen.

only chance of really significant change is if the military industrial complex and/or fbi/cia/nsa turns on the politicians but that is unlikely since the politicians will always be in bed with them.

get used to how things are goin...:upsetfavre:

It'll never happen.....people are too comfortable with buying their new car every 4-5 years, buying a new TV every few years, going out to eat every weekend, etc........and to be honest, you can't blame them. The govt is gonna do what they're gonna do and the rich will continue to cheat/get richer.
No need to worry about what you can't control. I watched like 2 mins of news coverage on this gvt shutdown and turned the TV off partly in disgust, partly in apathy. :manny:

the ones in charge are ahead of the masses. it should be black ppl rising up first causing hell but so long as barack is on there and al sharp is off the street, ppl feel everything is ok.
they've set up all these laws to monitor ppl and prevent all this sh1t from happening.

we think we have it bad but the crackas on st0rmfr0nt have it way worse. they have the guns and whatnot and back in sohh days they had threads talking about how cops harrass them. so that means they are monitored heavy. ip-physical address etc...

my bytch finally gave in to my "conspiracy theories". but that's cause i show her all this sh1t online. you're typcal person out there is clueless about what's going on. the media has shielding them from what's really going on.

america's also very divided. party wise and racially. and politicians/democrats know how to play ppl.

if we could all just unite against the zionists we would'nt have these problems. they are the ones behind all the confusion and distractions...

A world war where the US is losing :yeshrug:
the US is losing cause there is no such thing as america anymore. the ppl on tv dont represent the ppl. they're paid millions of dollars and don't relate to the ppl. if they did they'd be outraged by what's going on. if they did like the direction glen beck was headed they're considered to be jeopardizing national security.

we're busy watching football, playing grand theft auto, watching american idol, love & hiphop, going to the clubs thinking everything's fine.
this govt shut down should've been a cue to set things off...
