So what was the hype with Gears Of War?

For someone who played both Gears 3 and Uncharted online extensively and I don't need a co sign, this is my opinion Uncharted 2 online even number 3 is beating Gears in every department.

Gears of war felt like a punishment, I was disgusted wasting money on that, I sold the 360 at a loss because of it.

I dont even have a problem wit weapons u have to fight for, its the start out weapons that killed the game, if sawedoff would be a pickup weapon it would cool, I wouldn't have problem, cause it would be a advantage u would have to earn instead of just being given

Uncharted 2 MP was better than Gears of War 2 MP. Most people I know who think otherwise never really bothered to play UC2 MP or are Xbots.

UC2 Mp is criminally underrated. UC2 MP for a first time endeavor had lots of shyt to do.

It had your standard MP options such as Team Deathmatch, objectives, ranked playlist, CO-OP adventure and Co-OP Survival. Hell it was properly balanced with everyone on equal footing. Everyone had a AK, handgun, two grenades and two perks. Man back on Sohh we used to have full lobbies from dudes over there. Even Xbot and of used mattresses was rocking this shyt hard. Lol man those were the times. We even had one dude go into hiding after catching a beatdown online from Court

UC2 was my favorite MP experience this gen bar none, more so than Gears of war breh.

Purchased a 360 "slim" for this game when I heard people calling this a better version of Uncharted online, let me be honest and tell you this was the worst game I've played in recent memory and one the most regretful purchases I made, sold both the console and game at a loss.

Gears 3 was fun. I didn't play it online for that long, but no game's MP has captured me fully since COD4. But the campaign was solid as fukk.

Yea the powerweapons are normal because they're usually strategically placed in the "fight area", but neggas having overpowered start weapons

UC2 multi was trash plain and simple it was a tacked on part of the game. it was nothing to brag about and only contained only a few modes. the modes that are their are your typical run of the mill modes that added nothing to the genre. UC2 thrives with single player, the multiplayer you could tell was a afterthought to go against gears. none of the weapons in the multi-player brought anything into the thirdperson genre. Gears multiplayer contained nothing but innovation from the "chainsaw gun, sticky nades, torque bow, the sniper , dual chainsaw battles , mortars, hammer of dawn its not even close . The one shot head shots with the pistols on gears made you feel like a nothing on UC never had that type of impact

How the hell was Gears 2 MP better than Gears 3?

Matchmaking took forever, the atrocious lagging, host advantage, smoke grenade stun, invincible vaccuum chainsaw, 2-piece shotgunning, no shoot delay after rolls and roadie run. shyt was pathetic.

Gears 3 MP >>> Gears 2 in almost every way.

Gears 2 SP is my fave though.

The new one looks interesting. A lot of changes were made for consistency.

Also removed Locust from mulitplayer. You play as blue Cog vs. red Cog.

Gears 3 and the new is super trash, and nobody will play them cause they went against there fanbase, as a Xbox Stan, major gears head, major shooter fan, i hope the series die, they switched they entire style on gears 3 and catered towards casual, and people outside of the gears community, and now the game is in the bushes to all the people who loved the game, and the casual just went Back to cod anyway like they was always gon so, gears 2 multiplayer population was always at the top of the charts, shyt is dead to most people i knw, even wit all that uncharted multi was trash, and didn't even feel like they put anytime making, shyt was basic all around, basic modes, basic guns, basic maps, everything about it was average

i enjoyed mgs4, uncharted 2/3, heavy rain are some of my favs this gen, ps3 games online has been trash this gen for the most part

Nah. Not at all. Xbox fans are just more vocal about playing on Xbox live.

Best PS3 MP games I've played was UC2, UC3, KZ2, LBP1 and 2, Playstation All Stars and multiplat games.

Environment - the same depressing grey texture everywhere throughout the game

Gameplay sucks ass too. All in all fukking garbage.

Probably the violence and the graphics. Cause the story was horrible.
