This is one of the best rosters in football yet the biggest question is still at QB. I'd be down for 1 year of Brady

I mean, the Bucs did make him throw the ball almost 800 times last year

He wouldn't have to throw nearly as much with our running game and defense

My main concern is Brady, for obvious and logical reasons, wants no parts in getting hit and Kyle's scheme relies on the QB waiting till an exact moment to get rid of the ball. So when there's early pressure it's more than likely that the QB will get hit (happened a lot to Jimmy and a ton to Brock) and unless we get better at he OL position, Brady is gonna be throwing a lot of passes to the ground and not getting into a rhythm.

But hey, if dude wants to come for a dirt cheap contract and doesn't mind possibly getting hurt by Week 8, I'm not gonna oppose him signing with us

Yeah if Tom came here, wouldn't be a seamless fit at all. For the reasons you said and because he's got zero mobility. At this point the likeliest scenario is signing a cheaper vet QB (a Jacoby/Dalton type) and drafting another QB or two

Overall, I still think this offseason has to be all about getting Trey ready to go because the team's clearly gonna need him

Nah people are just seeing an idiot coach not adjusting to QB that is not Lamar Jackson or Tebow. An idiot that didn't play him sparingly his rookie year so he can get acclimated to the speed of the NFL. Shanny is a hack like Harbaugh at this point.

Plus I don't get the major malfunction of he hasn't played enough to determine anything. Has he played a whole season? No not at all. No QB in his class came in and balled out. It's not normal to have a Herbert or Purdy. It simply doesn't happen like that. These are rare cases.
