I really hate closers, non of them are reliable, shouldn't even call themselves pitchers, just guys who can throw hard, and who may have two pitches in their Arsenal(excluding Mariano of course), if you are lucky.

it makes you appreciate the greats like Mo, and the up and comers like Kimbrel who barely ever blow one. its not an easy role, but you cant let you team down twice in 4 games

if Detroit would have went on to lose that game, it would have been devastating. game 1 or not they had the lead all night
