Real talk. A-Rod has been the scapegoat. This guy's offense has been just as bad, but now he's made 2 questionable plays in the outfield that allowed runs to score. I'm done with him. He has the rest of this post season to go crazy and change minds, but seeing how that most likely won't happen, this should be his last season in pinstripes.

The thing is that DRob has pitched 5 of the 6 postseason games.
You can't have him pitch multiple innings when he has pitched in almost every game. That Swisher play clearly looms large. If he catches that, then there are 2 outs and the ballgame would still be tied.

Wouldn't say I hate them. But they're definitely one of my least favorite Yankee teams since I've started watching baseball. You don't see any fire or heart out there outside a couple guys.
These dudes are supposed to be professional hitters, but simply tasks like driving in a runner from 3rd with less than 2 outs, advancing a runner from 2nd to 3rd by pulling the ball, taking a pitch when you're struggling to allow a runner to steal, and just getting that big 2 out hit, seem impossible to achieve.
And those are things Yankee fans have come to expect out of this team, as we should. And since they can't do that on a consistent basis, they're not liked as much as other Yankee teams.

I love adjustments. I think they're one of the most important things in any sport. This problem of not being able to effectively play small ball didn't develop overnight. When players are struggling in a part of the game, it's the job of the coaches and managers to right the ship. And they certainly haven't done a good job at that.

The thing is the team has not had days off. So even if DRob has not thrown many pitches, he can't for more than 1+.

I've never seen a playoff team ( besides us the last few years ) unable to do the Basics. Our best player has no intensity great swing but no urgency and Our manager defines high strung.By the way why pinch run for grandy ?? The guy used to be able to steal bases and to use out only pinch runner on him is odd.
