What platform are Abrams and Gillum running on?

What are the black voters from GA and FL demanding from them ?

Ron DeSantis: Florida Can’t ‘Monkey This Up’ by Electing His African American Rival

Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis did an interview with Fox News on Wednesday where he used a…um, questionable choice of words when talking about his Democratic opponent, Andrew Gillum.

As DeSantis spoke to Sandra Smith about how he secured the Republican Party nomination last night, he was asked how he plans to beat Gillum now that they’re about to go head-to-head. Since the Tallahassee mayor is campaigning on progressive policies with support from Bernie Sanders, DeSantis acknowledged Gillam as an “articulate spokesman for those far left views” who moved forward with more charisma than other candidates in the democratic primaries.

Shortly after that, DeSantis made a comment that may or may not have something to do with the fact that Gillum is trying to become Florida’s first African-American governor:

“We have to work hard to make sure we continue Florida going in a good direction. Let’s build off the success of Governor Scott. The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. That is not going to work, that’s not going to be good for Florida”

So what do we think? Were Desantis’ remarks racist or was this just a case of poor phrasing? You choose.

That is his Republican opponent in November.

If Stacey gets rural Black people out to vote she wins. And if she doesn’t she will lose, but it’ll be less than 5 points. GA got a shyt load of rednecks, but it’s more than enough Black folks and added to the minority of progressive white folks and Hispanics, it could be very close. The DNC is about to throw a boat load at cash at both these races, so they should have all the tools they need to make a good run at it. I think the climate is just right for it to happen.

I just moved down south to Georgia. I'm not registered to vote in this state. But I will be driving people to the polls on election day

Andrew Gillum is having a CNN town hall at 8pmEST today on CNN against his bigot trash opponent. Tune in.

Also if anyone lives in the NY 19th district (Hudson valley area) please vote for Antonio Delgado. He's running for the US House of Representatives in that district. He's currently under racial attack by bigot trash Republicans because he made a rap album.

Rumor is Gillum trying to impose a state tax or raise corporate taxes or something like that. Don't know how well that will go over with the voters. Especially since they'll be the ones paying for it.

Gillum and DeSantis just had a debate, he said he wouldn't impose a state tax.

Also I'm for taxing corporations, 97% of the companies in Florida don't pay any taxes lmao wtf bruh
I'm ok with not having a state tax, but since you're ok with taxing corporations, where do you think the money gonna come from? The ceo not gonna be like, "it's ok, I'll lower my salary from a million dollars to 900k so we can pay these corporate taxes". It's gonna be coming from hard working Americans who need the money more. I'll give an example. I used to work at Walgreens, left a year ago. Recently they had to pay a huge fine to the SEC for some reason due to stock fraud. What did they do after? Cut the amount of vacation that people can have and a bunch of other benefits. These corporations won't give a fukk about no taxes. They all full of greed. And even if they don't take it out on their employees, they'll do it on the consumers.

Stacy Abrams has zero chance of winning. She's an unmarried black female, democrat, overweight and possibly LGBT running for governor in a red state.
