there is a Hess gas station on the corner of Flatbush and ave T in Brooklyn that just opened up after being closed for the past 3 days. there is a line of cars that must be a half mile long. there must be 20 cops trying to keep shyt in check.


i just got my power back this morning. i've spent the last few days in my car reading, drinking beer and listening to NPR on the radio.
yesterday traffic going through Park Slope towards the bridges was like nothing i've ever seen before.

the ports that receive fuel tankers have just opened up here in NYC so within the next 2 days fuel supplies should be getting brought in.
my local grocery stores are all closed...shyt is crazy.

it makes you realize that a major city can't last more than a couple of weeks MAX without getting supplies from the outside world.

walked to the grocery store and saw a handwritten note saying they don't have shyt.
