Thread is funny because the version of Infinity War they did was limited as hell, due to them not having access to all the characters.

So yeah, a decade build up....20+ movies leading up to it, etc. will be impossible to replicate but there is several arcs ("Secret Wars", "X-Tinction Agenda", "House Of M", "Age Of Apocalypse", etc.) that will make people forget about "Infinity War" because now they can do it properly and with all the right characters.

There will be dope event films here and there, Secret Wars is probably the next big build up. But they'll never be able to top that as far as movies goes. But the TV side of things IMO is where we may see the best of the MCU. The movies will still be important but I think they'll dominate/master that next which really makes for more character and world building and deeper immersion.

Thanos was perfect because he’s a brawler and not some ginormous entity that would look ridiculous fighting on screen. You have to find another brawler type. Doom or kang or korvac.
