Exactly. Never understood that. Why yall making jokes about this? Yall do realize Black people died in those attacks as well?
Every year the local stations in NYC show the name readings of the people who got killed in the attacks. So it's still a big deal in this area. I assume the rest of the country has normal programming on 9/11 mornings.
I remember the smoke pouring out of lower manthattan skyline in the days after 9/11. What's crazy is Flight 587 straight up crashed in the Rockaways that November after 9/11.
NY is a tourists city alot of people out and about with camerasWent down the YouTube rabbit hoke last night and am going to watch some documentaries today.
What’s crazy to me is just how much footage there is of that day. Like damn this was 2001 before the smartphones yet there’s so much footage online with people’s reactions as it’s happening.

True but still for 2001 it’s still mindblowing considering phone cameras weren’t really a thing and you would have to lug around a camcorder.NY is a tourists city alot of people out and about with cameras
Last year some guy flying to Nepal went on Instagram live right before his plane crashed. No doubt it would be crazy to see it with modern day phones.Imagine now you'd have people live streaming inside the towers
