It’s getting to the point of being just another day for those that didn’t lose loved ones or lived where the attacks took place. I’m not saying people don’t care (I watched the ceremonies earlier) but 23 years is a long time. If you’re under 25 it’s gonna be like Pearl Harbor was to us.

The other day, I noticed ain't nobody was talking about it anymore. I've been on Facebook throughout the morning; 3-4 years ago, I'd always see some posts from friends and pages I follow, highlighting the day but nowadays, nothing, not a word.

As time goes on, I think people just don't care anymore, at least from a patriotic, sentimental perspective. It's just another day.
As time goes on people who witnessed the experience live get old and die off and then there are people who didn’t exist until after the event that only can relate through books and videos.

Like someone else said in here, it’s like how I read about Pearl Harbor growing up and i didnt really care like my grandparents would

My Pops Forever RIP
Some of the beats on this album aged like doo doo :hhh:
*harlem shakes to casio beats*

Never Forget Nobody Beats The Wiz. In the middle of all this, my main goal was to get to Fordham and cop this and The Blueprint, open up the packaging and zone out. Managed to get it before they shut down for the day and walked the rest of the way home.

As soon as I get up the stairs and get home, my mom is recording everything, showing neverending replays of the towers getting him and I'm like :whoo:

That day is forever etched in my mind, just glad my brother overslept.

I still remember being in class and my teacher getting the phone call about what happened and telling the class. Crazy day. Can’t believe it’s been 23 years already. I was only 6 when it happened. Time really flies man.:wow:

It's crazy but I mean at this point we gotta look at how to prevent that type of oversight from happening again. Whether u think it was an inside job, ignored intel or not, it's clear that gross negligence allowed those dudes to hijack a plane and crash it.

U put a nikka like Trump in there he aint gonna listen to no intel and prob have interest in starting shyt. Bush actively ignored alot of shyt in his presidency cause he thought it would blow over or was scare tactics, not just 9/11.

I was in University at the time. We didn't have class cuz they were evacuating buildings downtown (Toronto) cuz there were rumors that a plane was headed for CN tower or some shyt and my campus was downtown. Walked to a Chinese spot with some friends, ordered some food and we all watched the news. News in a Chinese restaurant. It was a 1st.

The feeling that we may be next was scary as fukk. Then of course had some cats on campus that were happy. Weird shyt.

It was a sophisticated attack though that cost over a million dollars to planning, preparing the hijackers, buying tickets, coordinating, etc. It also exposed the lack of security we had in airlines during that time. Keep in mind Bin Laden was a civil engineer.

You're right though man you need someone who isn't going to fumble intelligence.
