So this new Terminator film looks like it's going to be fukking GARBAGE

I worked a few days on the set when they were filming in NOLA. I got to see this final battle speech that John Conner gets to say before they go offer to battle sky net. It's like an independence day styled speech a la Bill Pullman. But, in regards to the movie being good, it's an overworked theme as it is. Dystopian future with evil robots. I don't even think the story is that good (I didn't get to ask much about other scenes other than the ones I worked on). And then the new john Conner, I can't say that I found him to have a powerful enough camera presence...

The pics looks like shyt. The plotline is intriguing to me because from how I took it, this franchise is going the Star Trek/DoFP route by making it a canon sequel and a reboot at the same time. I presume that the original model is sent back in time to protect Sarah Conner because the idea was either to kill her parents before she was born OR they were killed the moment after she was born and the original model saved her and ended up raising her from infancy.

I have no issues with that kind of a twist.
