So one American goofball makes a crappy film that insults Muslims and so now this film represents the thoughts and actions of every American citizen??? Really?? :what:

Ridiculous isn't it. Kind of like how when a few misguided so-called Muslims commit acts of violence suddenly they represent the thoughts and actions of every Muslim.

When will the cycle of ignorance end?

This.

Why is it impossible for zealous Muslims to voice their indignation in a way that DOESN'T kill people? And not just with this retarded movie trailer -- with everything. Comics, books, newspaper articles...they literally go nuts over every little thing that is deemed even the slightest bit disrespectful to the prophet. Colonial history aside, they need to understand that not everyone is obligated to follow their religious standards of respect.

Thats a complete valid point, and it is applicable to Muslims in the West who live under Western laws

However, the West needs to understand that not everybody around the world is obligated to follow their legal standards of free speech

Muslims are a dumb lot for trying to pin the actions of an Egyptian immigrant on the US government. And Barack is even dumber for apologizing for the actions of one of its citizens for doing LEGAL activities, therby making the US seem culpable somehow in this low budget bullshyt film that these fukking Muslims are so antsy about. Lots of dummies exacerbating the situation here.

P.S. Whose bright idea was it to promote democracy in the Middle east anyway? Those fukkers are far better off under the control of dictators. Its seems military strongmen are the only people who can keep those fukks inline.

certainly not the US.

from overthrowing the democratically elected Mosaddegh because he had the audacity to believe Iranian oil belonged to the Iranian people to collectively punishing Gazans for voting the wrong way, the West has been waging an active Jihad against all democratic currents in the Middle East for well over 50 years now.

what America promotes in the region: neoliberalism, corruption, totalitarianism, the theft of natural resources, colonialism, the brutal military occupation of their land, repression, black sites and torture.

once you put things in proper context and move past this half racist, misguided "these savages are too subhuman to live in a democracy" mind state, try to understand why some Muslims get emotional when the one thing in their life they view as incorruptible and infallible is being demeaned, mocked and defamed... particularly when it's committed in a part of the world that has had their boots on their necks since the fall of the Ottoman Turks.

I know how much you Uhmurricans love your logic and reason.

I'm totally with ya'll.

It's like if America was attacked by religious zealots from Saudi Arabia, but they retaliated against Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan.

Wouldn't that be totally absurd brehs :heh:

Oh, not this fukking argument again.

This is what you hear in criminal courts all across the world. "My father beat my mother so I killed someone for stepping on my shoes" argument.

As if your religion didn't have its boots on the necks of the people it invaded in past. As if CURRENTLY in Africa, they aren't doing the same thing. It's as if this male dominated myth doesn't currently have the boots on the neck of the women in it' society.
