Just turn off your passcode and findmyiphone, back up ya phone, download and run Taig, connect ya phone to windows using ya charging cable, in Taig, uncheck the last box, hit the green button and that's it! Now as far as ssh goes, you don't need it anymore. That's what prevented a lot of people from bothering. Taig jailbreaks AND installs cydia for you. Then all you gotta do is add some repositories and your good 2 go. I did download mterminal tho from cydia but that was only so that i could change the root and user password as a security precaution.
Only takes 5 minutes.
and if you change your mind after jailbreaking it, all you have to do is turn your passcode off, turn off findmyiphone, restore your phone through itunes 12 on ya computer and your back to normal.
You can still use itunes, app store icloud etc, you'll just have the added option of having several app stores. Cydia is like an app store for tweaks. Appcake and vshare are an appstore for jailbroken 'premium paid apps'. If you add some pirate repositories then you can get pirated copies of paid hacks. So basically you don't have to pay for shyt, ever again.
you can customize existing apps.
Facebook ++ (puts messenger back, lets you stop autoplay vids, lets you save vids, lets u watch vids inline instead of new window etc)
Instagram++ (modifies instagram app, lets u save everything
Vine++ (Modifies the Vine App, it makes sure they don't autoplay and gives you option to save)
Phantom for Snapchat (think of all the snapchat hacks in the app store. it's better. instead of automatically saving everything which takes up memory, it just lets you choose what you want to save from within the snapchat app to a folder you choose that you automatically set in settings. lets you upload from cameraroll, bunch of other shyt too)
So basically you could jailbreak your phone and run all of the same apps as normal, then use a tweak to hide cydia and other jailbroken apps. And no one would know you've hacked most of the apps on your phone by installing a tweak or two.
My favorite tweaks:
PlayboxHD: Lets you watch movies, shows, cartoons etc. More reliable than the other bootleg streaming apps. It's better on a jailbroken device.
iCleaner (This deletes cache, incomplete files and frees up unused space, also deletes unused languages. When I used this for the first time it freed up 2GB)
TypeStatus (Shows when someones typing at the status bar up top. Also shows when they read it)
SwipeSelection (swiping across the keyboard lets you move back and forth the letters as if you were using the arrow key instead of trying to tap in between a letter. This is the fukking shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit)
ShowCase (shows lowercase and capitals on your keyboard after you hit the shift button)
No Tracking+ (removes tracking from skype, facebook messenger, whatsapp etc)
UntetheredHey Siri (lets you ask siri questions without having to hold the home button down and without having to have it plugged up)
NoPhotosCollections (removes collections)
NoRecentlyDeleted (lets u delete pics permanently, no stupid recently deleted folder)
Safe Alarm (locks alarm volume)
DoubleCheck (puts a faded recipients name in textbox to show who it is your texting in case you forget)
Auxo 3 (merges multitasking and control center. Gives you hotcorners. lets you close all apps with one upward swipe of springboard while your on the multitasking screen. this also helps save battery life cause one at a time swipes use extra battery)
Springmotize 3 (lets you customize animations, app slider, control center, dock, folders, icons, lock screen, notification center, status bar. this shyt sped my phone up a lot)
Activator (for gestures... godly. I'm not even gonna get into this)
ControllersforAll (lets you use console game controllers for games (sony, microsoft, nintendo)
Got an app that tells me more battery stats and what apps are using the most battery power.
There's an app that lets you clap and it will sound an alarm so you can find it.
