I'm sorry but dark skinned Blacks thinking they are more pure and deserve more privilege for opportunities meant for Black people than light skinned Blacks reeks of insecurity

So now only darker skinned blacks grow up poor now? Are all bi-racials ballin' then? :dead:

Being part Black isn't the same as being Black. You seem to have trouble making that distinction. Why do you think I said "half Blacks" :what:

I just edited my OP to account for that mistake. Didn't read the posts all the way through. Now answer those other 5 things and then I'll post the rest of my list for you to address.

Yes I'd wager a White and Black household is on average more well-off than a Black/Black one. Also a Black can be fair skinned, I acknowledged phenotype overlap with Blacks and Biracials

1. Zoe Saldana was too light to play Nina Simone and Hollywood wouldn't let a bi-racial play a white person (proved wrong, also see the mother of Louis C.K's. on his show)
2. Skipped over to bi-racials aren't black
3. Said that Hollywood movie makers care more about the racial make up of your parents than what you look like
4. Said Evan Ross, Boris Kodjoe, and Lisa Bonet are just some of the premiere bi-racials taking popular and in-demand roles from darker skinned blacks such as the likes of Gabrielle Union, Idris Elba, Lupita, etc.
5. Is okay with Denzel playing Malcolm X, a BIRACIAL man. But doesn't like the inverse.

4/5 of those arguments I never made. For example, Malcolm X should have been played by a biracial but since Blacks do not get roles and biracials get tons of roles, I won't loose sleep over it.

As to #3, Hollywood movie makers may not consciously seek biracials but they are obviously getting placed for Black roles. I already stated being half Cac allows biracials networks not afforded to Blacks.

But that's what you been doin' the whole thread. :laff: :laff: :laff:

Nope

You seem to think biracial = fair skinned Black

SEEM is the big word here because I haven't said anything about shyt and have been speaking vehemently about that contradiction through the thread.

1. Def said it cause that's what started the whole thing between me and you :laff:
2. I won't say factually because I don't feel like reading, but you are trying to assert you standards of "blackness" as what should be for everyone else and therefore dictating what's sort of "acceptable" for black and what's not.

3. What are "black" roles? Sans, iconic figures/Biopics, what roles? You still haven't said any. In fact, I'd go as far as to say, there aren't many roles for LIGHTER black woman at all unless they want to play some tragic hispanic chick. Lupita, Gabrielle, Nia Long, Sanaa have been having GREAT careers and to a general audience member (black and white) who doesn't feel like running to wikipedia for everything, Halle Berry is black. How many of these women are biracial? http://www.bet.com/shows/bet-star-cinema/photos/2013/04/top-25-best-black-actresses.html Sans the ones who are from Civil RIghts era times and shyt, who on this list have the most rank? Are bi-racial actresses as black really as popular as you are making them out to be? Y'all need to stop this false propaganda.

4. I definitely asked you to name people who are taking roles and those are definitely the names you listed in your weak attempts.

5. So you don't agree with Denzel playing Malcolm? You seemed pretty quiet on the matter earlier compared to your other debating pursuits.

Find the quotes for all these things. You keep making inferences and putting words in my mouth. For example, I never said "Hollywood wouldn't let a bi-racial play a white person ", I said it isn't proportional to the amount of biracials playing Blacks. This is highly suspicious since there are more White roles in Hollywood. As to number 4, I said they were taking Black roles, I never said how prestigious the roles were.

Turn a discussion about a biopic into a discussion about median incomes in America, brehs.

Be an overthinking pseudo-intellectual, brehs.

I'll take that as a waving of the white flag :obama:

Me: 1
You: 0

But you read a few wikipedia articles about race in your 30s and vomited every piece of common sense you learned in this thread so you should be proud of your self more than anything. Learning is good.

that hurt:mjlol:
