Trust me breh, I know

We had coli Islanders popping shyt off a week or so ago. None of the coli islander members checked their own. They just came right at black Americans necks and then act like we started it. A lot of Carribbean nikkas I meet IRL are straight though. The ones who are funny style in that culture are a minority imo.

With Nigerians/Ethiopians/Somalis, it isnt a minority. They generally dislike us. The feeling is mutual for me. I wont go any further though because as you said, it's perfectly acceptable to pop shyt off to black Americans but if we retaliate, it's a problem. Non AA blacks come at you and the AA posters will come at you on some kumbaya shyt when it's not fukking realistic.
Judging by this post, I assure most people don't like you because your a fukking idiot

CHICAGO
Every african I ever met was on sum funny style shyt on AA

In Chicago, you literally have to gain an in to being respected by the African community as a black American male.
That is true,.....
I know it to be true because I was allowed to party with Africans and was told I was allowed in.
They, generally are not trying to entertain the cultural disconnect. that black American are usually victimized by from living in as racist and narcissistic an environment as the us is.
So, yes in Chicago I know there is a disconnect on the landscape there and it is segregated as well.

It's purely anecdotal.

It's not like I can pull up statistics or anything but I've never heard of any Black American or anyone of any nationality having an issue with a Senegalese person, a Malawian, a South Sudanese, a Congolese, etc etc

It's the same 3 nationalities. IRL, Nigerians can sometimes slide given their appearance more resembles ours but nobody I know irl really fuks with horners. You have racists who make fun of West African features. A lot of you look different. In the case of Somalis, you put your religion at a higher priority than your ethnicity. Some of you guys tend to do everything in your power to separate yourself from other black groups in an attempt to assure other races and yourselves that you're superior to somebody. It's not all of you but these people do exist so dont be shocked when the coldness some of your people give off is reciprocated.

Dozens. In the case of Somalis, hundreds

I'm not going to go in ITT because this is a sensitive issue and it's kind of an unwritten rule among Black American posters here that we're supposed to treat other black nationalities with kid gloves.

Well if we want to go off appearance, then I can see how we can easily call out people of the horn because they appear different.

As far as somalians and relating to their religion, wasn't the majority of Africa muslim or pagan prior to colonial missions coming to "enlighten" the people. Mansa Musa, one of the most important rulers of African history was a muslim and so were many of his people.

And nigerians seem to be some of the most well to do africans in America. I believe I once read a stat that said there are more nigerians in grad school in America than any other minority group.

I won't speak about Ethiopians because of obvious bias but it's such an interesting dilemma. When I was young, I used to have family members tell me that I am better off not hanging out with Tuqur (black) because they will distract me from my studies, etc. But trust and believe that this was a far different story from the 20s to the 80s when Africans and AA were working side by side to help fight colonialism on multiple fronts. I have personal family history of dealing with the relations between blacks and Africans and the many plans of getting educated blacks back to Africa to help develop the motherland. But......Somewhere along the way we went from "back to africa" to "african booty scratchers" and from "one people, one love" to "don't hang out with the local blacks".

On one hand, how can you expect a continent of over a billion people and their diaspora throughout the world to all get along and have the same views and goals. On the other hand, how is it that we have NOTHING? Nothing but the African Union and some HBCU's. No huge international african endowment, no country by country fund helping blacks worldwide. Nothing that will show us that there is an opportunity to bring everyone back together for the greater good (Major Key: They don't want us linked up like Voltron) I can't give you all the answers but I know it's a lot bigger than us. And unfortunately all of the potential leaders who could have helped us when we digressed are gone. Now, you have this new age thinking of "we don't need any leaders". Okay, so who will speak on behalf of our communities, who will help make decisions when you have competing views, who will help lead us as a nation? Oh let me guess, you're good on your own? I don't agree with that and I think that is one of our biggest issues. The other being the death and incarceration of many black men in Africa and throughout the world who could have been role models, leaders, game changers. All the real ones are gone. And the ones coming out of the woodworks now are sending us the wrong direction.

Yeah any nikka would get cl owned wearing those in america tbh so it's more or less about what black america views as masculine. If i see any nikka wearing those I'd think they are his feet. What is my own there?

hmmmm..... I mean nikkas do clown young thug.

But we know that within american culture, what you wear cannot dictate your sexuality, if that's the case
Please tell the downlow Mr cee ass nikkas to stop appropriating straight men stop fooling women.

I remember my freshman at my old HBCU, there was a tranny nikka that sold weed. A whole bunch of nikkas was copping grass and prolly getting some other shyt too. And alot were supposedly regular nikkas who wanted some good green. It's obvious alot of them were DL like shyt. They dressed normally

I used to think the dude clowning that man's Sandles but I'm older now, more mature, and not ignorant.

Wale should have left it alone tbh. nikkas say ignorant shyt on IG everyday
