So the "Only" footage of Bruce Lee in an "actual match" has dropped. What say the naysayers?

I don't know why ppl continue to doubt Bruce Lee..especially fat ass who never been in a fight or even trained in anything.

Bruce grew up getting into fights...

His kicking speed and power :wow:

No average dude is touching Bruce...especially some of you dusty nikkas on here who were doubting Bruce... never been in a fight and don't train.:mjlol:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
When you strike first you're offering up openings for counters and breaking your defensive shell. Look at Anderson Silva, one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. Breh would stand there and throw non committal strikes like jabs and quick leg kicks, to bait you into throwing back. He'd feint to draw you into reacting and see your reactions, feel you out. Or he'd just clown you and do some shyt that would bug you out. Trained fighters, dudes that have spent years if not decades at their craft, would get frustrated and eventually throw a strike and that's when Silva would activate his fukking Matrix mode and hit you with a fist to the face before you even fully extended your own damn strike.

silva vs griffin was the best, worst, fight i ever saw in my life

i have to rewatch, but i don't think homie hit silva with one single hit the entire fight... then got knocked out by a backpeddling silva

he was very reactionary and wasn't the aggressor but his execution shows his mastery and high skill level. he was calm, quick and very much under control of the whole encounter; the essence of what you strive to learn self defense for

most martial art movie stars were fighters first... where the hell you think they learned it from, especially back then

bruce lee was trained by Ip Man and was a legend while living, hence his school, his training sessions, and the way other martial artists spoke of him WHEN ALIVE..

but i guess we should take the word of someone who wasn't even living then

The Truth
He was basically chilling and was just do fast that he beat the guy to the punch. He speaks about it in his JKD book.

Someone less predictable probably wouldve done better BUT Bruce was just sparring and pretty much only countering. Never really engaging or being aggressive in which he would've probably slept homeboy

Yeah most arent professional fighters but some were and some were pretty good. They were just true martial artists. I remember seeing clips of Michael Jai White KO'ing dudes at his tournaments
