Teenagers on the internet usually try to be edgy and offensive. The hands-off approach of reddit and twitch speaks volumes to their white privilege. They’re unaffected personally by the hateful rhetoric, so they let it continue under the guise of “free speech” when it’s really them caring more about profits.
