So basically the thread should read the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area is home of pro sports?

in 97, the minimum wage was $4.75.... a nikka who had a job,and was old enough to work full time, would've had to work 40+ hours to even be able to afford a pair of them with the tax.
having a pair of pennys was a big deal, unless you got them as a birthday present, the only way you was gonna have a pair was if you was selling dope, or you robbed a nikka for his.
Mustve been a lot of money in PG then. Becuz in HS these joints were very common. Then the Flightposites, then the blue and black KGs, KG Flighposites and Hyperflights. And this is not counting the Timbs and Jordans and various other shoes that a lot people also had like the Duncans...every popular shoe was over $100 and they were all over the place.
Not me tho...I only had Solo Flights and other low end Nikes and then Timbs every other day

Yes there were lines outside stores in the mid to late 90s for Js/Foams/Penny's..do you know about the Space Jams...And B-More and D.C. are worlds apart fashion wise.
I go to sleep and wake up to this, the intent of this thread was not to discuss fashion...

The W.M.A is the Washington Metropolitan Area (subway/metro accessible). This is not the same as the D.M.V. I will concede the 7 cities region as not a part of the DMV.
However you cannot say the DMV has distinct lines and is not expanding since its only where the metro goes. Then in the next breath acknowledge that the metro is expanding..
This is a thread about athletes from the area not a thread about who's lawn the HOA should be cutting.
