Yeah, I can remember the 90s and 2000s (not to mention millennia before that) where the shape of the Earth wasn't in dispute. Even 2000 years ago educated people knew the Earth was round.

Government created Y2K hysteria to boost economy with "Y2K compliant" devices. Government facilitated that conspiracy with the two digit year format.

Government was concerned Saddam was allowed to buy PS2s because he was building a super computer...lol
