Only know so much about the case, think I saw a short story on it some years back, so I'm only asking this for research, not to defend anyone

This is exactly it.
How the fukk is a grown man who hasn't spent a day with the kid going to spend his life taking care of a severely disabled child? His son would have minimal quality of life and more than likely would be at serious risk if this is even considered.
I hope he has life insurance and does the only honorable thing left to him. Kill himself so his son can have a life after his grandmother is passed on. Unless he does that, he can stay in that jail and rot.

i work in severe childhood behavioral/disability intervention at a school system. You won't believe how much some of these kids checks are and what the parents do with em. Some of these kids parents take ALL there money leaving the kids with no communication talkers, old dusty wheelchairs etc. Its a damn shame. I even seen parents try to get normal kids diagnosed with something just for a checkThis is exactly it.

The fact that he wants custody of the child is trulybrehs. This guy literally carved up his woman pregnant with said child and the shyt fukks the child up. I think he has down syndrome or something. maybe somebody spoke on it early in the thread. Its his fault the kids motor functions are fukked and his mom is dead..but now you wanna be a parent. I would legit stab Rae Carruth to keep him from seeing that little boy he tried to have murdered

He had a strong motive and the actual shooter and driver testified that Rae set it up. Outside of getting him on tape arranging the murder the case was as open and shut as it gets.
Rae tried to say the murder was over drug money, which there was no evidence of and there were no witnesses to support that story.

Damn, such a big smile on his face. Makes you really feel fortunate if you're in good health. This kid did not deserve to end up with cerebral palsy. People with disabilities like him that can still manage to smile and live life are beyond inspiring.
Carruth should be rotting in prison, or have a bullet in his empty head.
