This is why I said earlier that a GGG/Ward fight needs to cook more. GGG ain't fight a top 3 middleweight yet and hasn't even touched a top 15 super middleweight contender. Let GGG get a signature win or two first. Ward is always gonna be the favorite in that fight, but at least GGG won't be considered some hype job if he loses to Ward.

He 'just fought' 6 months ago and we literally haven't heard a peep since. November will be rolling around this year and we'll all be cause Ward still doesn't have fight. GGG fought in November too. Then he fought in February and was booked to fight in April if not for the death of his father. I understand the opponents weren't optimal but I'd rather see a guy stay active than sit around doing nothing like Ward. People keep saying that GGG hasn't beaten anybody seem to be making the perfect case for why he has no business moving up. He's still got a lot of work to do at 160. Ward is the one who has already beaten all the names in his weight class and should be looking to move up.
