"music is the most powerful sound there is"
"its powerful for 2 reasons, you recognize it fast and you associate it very powerfully"
"music is the most powerful form of sound that we know that effects our emotional state"
"the fourth way in which sound effects us is behaviorally" plays fast music " with all that other stuff going on it would be amazing if our behavior didn't change. so ask yourself is this person ever going to drive at a steady 28 miles per hour? i don't think so"
but i thought music had zero affect on the listener :jbhmm:

they're in denial @PhonZhi

We're having this discussion yet again:blessed:

Im doing something rite:wow:

People are reading these threads and waking up. :blessed:

Thanks for the contribution @mrken12 :salute:

In order for the mindstate of the black community to progress and to be ready and willing to combat white supremacy, toxic and ignorant hiphop culture MUST BE SHUNNED by the masses. Education and intelligence must become the new themes of hiphop culture

Not the main reason...but if I'm a child with no vision of what it looks like outside the hood. And all I know is what rappers from the hood have done to create the illusion of making it out...

My immature mind is going to believe that illusion and follow suit. You can't underestimate the impressionability of an uneducated mind. It's really obtuse to not see how music can mold a childs mind.

Ok, so what logical conclusion makes you want to sell dope but not be a rapper in this hypothetical situation?

Talent.

Rhyming is still a talent that everyone can't do. It's like drawing. Some people just can do it, others have trouble with stick figures.

Sad that you have to keep saying this. Its extremely telling of the brain capacity of who you're debating with

ha...
I feel like I just jumped in the ring with you, and they surrounding us...

This discourse is good and healthy though.

So you couldn't figure out ways to spend time to develop and nurture your craft so slanging wasn't the prominent future for yourself?

For those without options. Perhaps.

Do you not think music plays a role in influencing young black kids?
