I was talking to my bro the other day who live is LA and he tells me that gas is now $5/gallon there and going higher every day? Apparently a refinery went down and the remaining refineries cant keep up with demand!

I think this should be a great thing for the liberal movement, as maybe they can finally park their cars and walk or bike to work. After all, "dirty" refineries are damn near illegal to build in California due to the environmentalists blocking energy production at every turn.

Any Southern Californians want to weigh in?

Gas is always higher in Cali. I remember when people looked at their $2 gas and was like

m3h gas aint even an issue, if you drive at regular speed . I'm glad the area I live in now has minimal traffic congestion. Word to advice, don't ever move to Sherman Oaks near Sepulveda Blvd. or anywhere in Woodland Hills,these two places are nightmares. I can pretty much take the streets for most of my destinations. I literally get my money worth with gas, because I know how to efficiently speed, and cruise at an optimal pace, which requires very little need to accelerate. The only problem is carpooling with friends. The added mass requires more force (gas), not to mention there's a high probability of needing to jump on the freeway, so I make my brehs chip in
