I get that but why is mandela being celebrated like some peace loving nobel freedom fighter? That's the part that I don't get.

It's not his faulty he has said many times that he is no saint

Because his fighting was more noble than those racist cacs. He was fighting against evil and oppression. These cacs expected us to let them kill Biko and other black people (many kids) without retaliation, forget that As my dad says, "Nobody has a monopoly on violence"
